Conceived late one night by two parents over more than a few drinks… Nine months later, our tiny company was born. (Sound familiar?!).
While some might wonder why they would dress baby products in black, we think it’s absolutely perfect. As the absorption of all colors in the visible spectrum, we think black is a perfect analogy for the full spectrum of parenting styles, family structures and experiences that make up a beautiful, new generation of families. So they decided early on that they won’t stop using black until they invent a darker color! At their heart, they are about celebrating parents because parenthood is the most under-appreciated, fulfilling, hardest job we’ve ever loved.
The soul of their company is about helping the millions of children all over the world who go to bed hungry every night. Ultimately, feeding hungry children is a basic human responsibility we all share. So they are doing their best to do their part… by making their company’s purpose-driven commitment to donate 1 meal to a hungry child for every product they sell.
Being a “tiny” company allows them to be close to their products, close to their customers, and 100% authentic. Their office/warehouse is above a (incredible) pizza restaurant so the office frequently smells like marinara, but it’s their starting place. They are proud of their humble roots because their tiny (black) heart is never influenced by corporate pressures, so they are free to put people over profit…which we think is pretty cool.
